  1. I am not sure how they work. How do you attach stuff (eg, a flashlight)?
  2. You will probably need an adapter like the one shown in the video:

  3. Either you buy picatinny rail sections that mount on the MLOK rail (to mount accessories that use that system) or you buy items like light mounts specifically for MLOK rails.

This is basically the same thing for KeyMod rails.

  4. Yes Burrhead is correct. Mounting MLok picatinny rails and then mounting picatinny accessories to the rails just makes for bulky additions and weaker attachments. There are many fine Magpul accessories (bipod adaptors, foregrips, etc) which attach directly to the Mlok handguards and are the strongest attachment available.
  5. Specifically, to the OP, you thread the nuts correctly onto the screws and then the MLok slots "grab" them and let you tighten down directly clamping whatever accessory you have to the rail. Easy instructions, including screw torque specs, are all inside the accessories packaging for the Magpul items.
  6. I recommend using a set of needle nose pliers to hold the T-nuts as you tighten the outside with the (hopefully provided) Allen wrench.

I put a M-LOK handguard on my AR and added a Pic rails to it. Purely because I have a particular forward grip and light mount I am rather attached to that is not available in MLOK style. My QD front sling mount is directly attached.

  7. I've hung several Surefire lights with UTG's MLok Offset Mount Yes, it's cheap Chinese aluminium. . . and it works fine.
  8. I've found UTG stuff is decent. Maybe it's not "TOP OF THE LINE" stuff, but it works fine.
